LIVing a Life With Purpose

In November 2023, Meaningful Manhood was born at the Azario Veranda with seven men gathering for weekly outdoor meetings. Even in chilly weather, with jackets and gloves, our group has grown steadily, welcoming new faces each week. Despite vacations and snowbirds affecting attendance, our membership now proudly exceeds 60 men.

Our community is diverse, bringing together men from all backgrounds, denominations, and beliefs. Every Thursday, we dive into timely, relevant, and sometimes challenging topics that encourage self-reflection and personal growth.

These discussions spark meaningful insights, shared experiences, and opportunities to evolve as men, strengthen relationships, and make a positive impact on our community.

Meaningful Manhood is a safe, inclusive environment where every man in Azario is welcome. We strive to build a supportive community where men uplift one another through life’s journey.

Join us at the Venue every Thursday morning—doors open at 7:00 AM, with sessions starting promptly at 7:30 AM and wrapping up by 8:30 AM. Hot coffee is always provided. Whether you’re curious or ready to jump in, simply show up or contact us with any questions. We look forward to meeting you!

"In the past I operated independently, didn’t have much time for outside relationships, and was happy being disconnected. What I didn't know is that there are several great men in Azario with common values. The guys have a genuine desire to listen to and support each other. Participating in the group has been enlightening and helped me develop personal perspective into the role of having other Godly men in my life.  Every time we meet, I leave with new insights into the challenges we all face, along with the wisdom and encouragement I need to sustain me through the week. It's really a gift."

SHARED COMMITMENTS

• We meet weekly for one hour, beginning and ending on time.

• We engage in active listening and meaningful participation, seeking to understand rather than simply respond.

• We treat one another with respect at all times, especially during personal and insightful discussions.

• We welcome and support men from all backgrounds and beliefs.

• We draw wisdom from the Bible (both Old and New Testament) for guiding principles for living a purposeful life.

• We hold confidentiality core to what we do. We share topics with others, but the content of what is shared in our meetings is confidential. This is a crucial part of creating a safe environment for men to share and support one another. What is shared in our meetings, stays in our meetings.

• We value humility, steering away from self-promotion or boasting.

Together, we can pursue having a positive impact on our lives and those of our family, friends, and neighbors in our community.
